Software Services for Business

DGA has been providing services for business for 25 years.  Established in 1984, we started as an OS/2 based software house, specialising in the manufacture of technical glue - sticking together things that do not want to work together.

Over the years we have written device drivers for typographical printers for use with DisplayWrite, code to extract call log information from IBM telephone exchanges, Email gateways to connect differing Email systems (the first were the IBM Office Vision family and the then new fangled PC based cc:Mail and Lotus Notes - before IBM bought Lotus).

More recently we have moved to Java as our language of choice, and Linux as our prefered platform.  However Java will run almost anywhere these days, so while we will write it to run on Linux, you can run it on Windows, Macs or even IBM Mainframes.

Using Linux is only a part of our work with Open Source.  All our internal systems are Linux based, and we use Linux and related software for everything we do, from servers to laptops.

A sister company Linkchoose Ltd provides network connectivity, in particular wireless networks and Broadband for those who can not get ADSL in the western Aylesbury Vale area.
